Lance was finally able to make the announcement, and it should come as no surprise that he will be rejoining his co-host of 10 years, John Granato, for the morning show on 1560 The Game in Houston. The morning show will run from 7am to 11am each weekday.
Lance will start tomorrow and they're kicking things off with Lance "The Big Puma" Berkman in studio for the entire four hours, plus Jon Barry is expected to make an appearance.
Not a surprise, but great news nevertheless.
This stuff is still sitting in my audio folder, so I might as well bust out some bonus audio to celebrate:
Lance's meltdown after the Titans beat the Texans in OT on a long Vince Young run.
A Friday Week in Review segment from 8-28-2006. The bulk of it is Granato's story about meeting his new Chinese neighbors, Ron and his wife Pong. I literally almost peed myself when Granato went with the "very Chinese" card and then Lance did the Andrew Dice Clay bit.
Gotta Keep Them Fresh, from the 9-2-2006. The guys are riffing on the ridiculous D-line substitution patterns that the Texans were using last year.
Awesome. I'm so happy for him. I guess the time he wasn't allowed to compete expired.
