Super Bowl XXXIX

With or without TO, I think the Eagles can beat the Patriots. I think the Eagles will cover the spread (+7) and win outright by a score of 24-20. As good as the Patriots play it, a good quarterback can still find holes in their zone coverages. McNabb's line: 20-35-250-2-0 and 50 yards rushing. Brady's line: 18-28-210-1-1

From Betmill.com, here are some of the fun bets that I would make if had I any money to spare:

102 [-105] Eagles +7
102 [-110] Under 47

103.2 [+120] First Score will be a FG or Safety
135.1 [+350] First player to score a TD will be MVP
151.2 [+140] Will the Patriots ever have a 10 point lead? NO
165.1 [-115] Patriots win the coin toss
166.2 [-115] Coin toss will be tails
168.1 [+105] Final score differential will be EVEN
172.2 [+150] Will a team score unanswered 3 times? NO
175.1 [+270] First player to score will have an ODD number Jersey
221.1 [+1000] Will the game be decided by exactly 4 pts? YES
301.1 [+115] Longest TD will be over 43.5 yards
907.1 [-150] Will Tom Brady thrown an INT? YES
1009.1 [-110] McNabb will rush for over 28.5 yards
1214.11 [+800] McNabb will score first TD in game
1214.7 [+1200] David Patten will score first TD in game
1304.1 [-115] More Pats + Eagles Punts (-1.5) than made Corey Maggette FT

I took a bath on my fictional bets.

You haven't been reading enough sports guy is all. If you had been reading, you would know that the Pats always pull it off when it counts.

I think this was a case of the Eagles finding a way to lose when it counts. They now have a four year history of doing it in big games.

I was too hard on myself in that last comment. I hit on both the Eagles covering and the over/under bets.
